P-40 Classic Gen.3 Tactical Pants: Low-Profile Reliability for Everyday Operations

Some environments require heavy protection and specialized equipment. Others require something less visible but equally reliable. The P-40 Classic Gen.3 Tactical Pants were developed for exactly this space in between — everyday operations, training, and duties where a clean appearance, mobility, and comfort matter just as much as durability.
The new generation builds on a proven UF PRO platform, refining the concept with targeted improvements in fit, functionality, and adaptability to different environments and temperatures.
Built to Move Naturally
The P-40 Classic Gen.3 uses a hybrid construction that combines durable PolyCo Ripstop fabric with bi-elastic stretch materials. This combination allows the pants to remain durable in high-wear areas while moving naturally with the body.
The ergonomic cut and stretch zones are positioned in areas where the body moves most, allowing unrestricted movement when running, climbing, kneeling, or working in confined spaces. Breathable and fast-drying materials help maintain comfort during long hours of wear.
Stability and Comfort at the Waist
One of the key updates in the Gen.3 version is the redesigned waist area. Integrated stretch panels allow the pants to adapt to the body, while compatibility with the UF PRO Waist/Flex system provides additional stability when carrying equipment.
An integrated 3D lower-back pad supports the lumbar area and helps fill the gap between the body and the waistband, improving comfort and stability during extended wear. A rubberized inner waistband helps keep shirts in place, maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
Ready for Protection and Changing Conditions
The P-40 Classic Gen.3 is designed to adapt to different mission requirements. The pants are compatible with UF PRO 3D Tactical Knee Pads, allowing users to add Cushion or Impact protection. For environments where sharp objects are a concern, the system can be upgraded with puncture-resistant Solid Pads.
When temperatures drop or wind exposure increases, a windproof thermal liner can be zipped into the waistband, transforming the pants into a cold-weather configuration without restricting movement. This extends the usability of the pants across seasons and environments, from approximately –10 °C to +35 °C.
Low-Profile Functionality
The pocket configuration and overall design are intentionally low-profile. The pants feature stretchable hand pockets, dual-access side pockets with internal compartments, discreet back pockets, and a concealed safety pocket for secure storage of small valuables.
Every element is designed to remain functional and accessible while maintaining a clean and professional appearance suitable for everyday operational use.
