UF PRO Introduces Woodland Camouflage to Its Clothing Lineup
KOMENDA, SLOVENIA (12 May 2026)
The Woodland camouflage pattern has remained one of the most recognisable and enduring military camouflage designs for more than four decades. Originally introduced in the early 1980s as the standard camouflage of the United States Armed Forces, the pattern became closely associated with an entire generation of military operations and field equipment.
Now, UF PRO is expanding its clothing lineup with the introduction of Woodland camouflage across a selection of established products designed for demanding operational environments.
The new camouflage option is now available on the Striker XT Gen.2 Combat Shirt, Hunter FZ Gen.3 Tactical Softshell Jacket, P-40 Gen.2 Tactical Shorts, and Striker Gen.3 Boonie Hat. The Striker X Gen.2 Combat Pants will follow later this year.
A Camouflage Pattern with Lasting Relevance
Woodland, also widely referred to as M81, was developed for temperate woodland terrain and became one of the most widely adopted camouflage patterns worldwide. Its characteristic four-colour composition and recognisable appearance contributed to its continued presence far beyond its original military role.
Over time, the pattern remained present across military, law enforcement, and training environments, while continuing to maintain strong demand within the wider tactical community.
Its addition to the UF PRO lineup reflects that continued relevance and long-standing user interest.
Expanding Existing Clothing Configurations
The Woodland rollout focuses on extending existing UF PRO clothing solutions into an additional camouflage option while maintaining the same materials, construction, and functionality already established across the lineup.
The Striker XT Gen.2 Combat Shirt combines durable sleeve construction with a lightweight torso material intended for improved comfort under body armour and load-bearing equipment.
The Hunter FZ Gen.3 Tactical Softshell Jacket provides lightweight weather protection and mobility for changing operational conditions.
The camouflage option is also introduced on the P-40 Gen.2 Tactical Shorts and the Striker Gen.3 Boonie Hat, extending the Woodland configuration into lightweight warm-weather clothing.
Later this year, the Striker X Gen.2 Combat Pants will further expand the Woodland offering within the combat clothing lineup.
Continuing Portfolio Expansion
The introduction of Woodland camouflage continues the expansion of the UF PRO clothing portfolio in response to sustained demand for established camouflage patterns across professional and tactical user groups.
