KOMENDA, SLOVENIA (14.10.2025)
On 27 September 2025, UF PRO, part of Mehler Systems, hosted the third edition of the Striker Challenge—for the first time in Pokljuka, Slovenia.
The event drew more than 160 registered participants from 16 countries who took on a 20-kilometre alpine course featuring 19 obstacles designed to test physical endurance and mental resilience.
Located within Triglav National Park, this year’s course included steep elevation changes, cold-water crossings, mud crawls, and weighted carries through forest terrain. Some obstacles were revealed only on race day, adding an element of unpredictability and requiring focus under pressure.
“For us, the Striker Challenge is much more than a competition,” said Martin Pogačnik, Event Manager at UF PRO. “It reflects the same determination and discipline that stand at the core of our brand and our community.”
Competitors included members of the military, law enforcement, first responders, and tactical athletes.
Each received a limited-edition UF PRO Striker Challenge 2025 kit, while the top three male and female finishers earned UF PRO gear vouchers worth up to €1,500.
Participants spoke positively about the organisation and overall experience. One noted:
“A great natural setting with obstacles that pushed me to my limits—real fun for both body and mind.”
First organised in Komenda, Slovenia, the Striker Challenge has become one of UF PRO’s key events. Moving the 2025 edition to Pokljuka introduced a new alpine environment, adding to the challenge’s diversity and scale.
Preparations for the 2026 edition are already underway, with more details to be announced early next year. Those interested can already sign up to express their interest.
