Showcasing Advanced Maritime Solutions at SMM and Personal Protection at MSPO 2024
FULDA, GERMANY (10.09.2024)
Following the summer break, early September saw Mehler Protection’s attendance at two prominent trade shows: SMM in Germany, where they highlighted their latest maritime protection solutions, and MSPO in Poland, where they focused on showcasing advanced ballistic protection for individuals.
Innovative Maritime Advancements at SMM
For over 60 years, SMM in Hamburg, Germany, has been the leading event for the maritime industry, bringing together professionals to explore groundbreaking technologies and solutions. The 2024 edition continued this tradition.
At Mehler Protection’s booth, visitors were introduced to the PROTEC3D line—an innovative ballistic protection system leveraging advanced 3D printing technology. A standout feature of the exhibit was the 3D-printed armour sensor case, showcasing the PROTEC3D line’s capability in delivering precision-engineered protection.
Additionally, Mehler Protection showcased the M-RACC protection system, engineered to counter the unique threats faced in maritime operations. The display featured systems designed to protect weapon mounts and ship bridges, exemplifying just a portion of the comprehensive capabilities offered by the M-RACC line, further underscoring their expertise in maritime security solutions.
"At Mehler Protection, we focus on developing practical solutions to address the challenges of maritime security. The PROTEC3D line and M-RACC system reflect our commitment to offering reliable protection for critical assets in demanding environments," stated Denis Weber, Business Development Director at Mehler Protection | Platform Armour.
Personal Protection Solutions at MSPO
While SMM took place in Germany, MSPO, one of Europe’s premier defence trade shows, was held in Kielce, Poland.
Mehler Protection presented its range of personal ballistic protection solutions, including the M.U.S.T. system, an adaptable body armour offering multiple configuration options. They also featured the MOBAST protective system, developed for the German Federal Armed Forces, providing soft- and hard-ballistic protection, stab resistance, and versatile carrying solutions.
In addition, a selection of hard- and soft-ballistic panels, vests, carriers, and helmets were also showcased.
