LENGGRIES, GERMANY (08.09.2025)
Lindnerhof, part of Mehler Systems and a specialist provider of load-bearing equipment and adaptive tactical solutions, has appointed Paul Jennewein as Co-Managing Director, effective 1 September 2025.
Jennewein joins the management team alongside Jakob Kolbeck, who has until now served as the company’s sole Managing Director.
Paul Jennewein brings extensive experience in high-performance and defense textiles. He spent more than 18 years at W. L. Gore & Associates GmbH in production, engineering, and technology development, working on projects including the German Special Forces Command (KSK) clothing system, the German Navy’s new uniform program, and the Nordic Combat Uniform initiative.
He holds a degree in engineering from the Technical University of Stuttgart, specialising in textile process engineering at the German Institutes for Textile and Fiber Research (DITF) in Denkendorf.
In his role as Co-Managing Director, Jennewein will oversee development in textiles and adaptive systems, industrialisation, in-house sample production, and the supply chain—including logistics, purchasing, and contract manufacturing.
He will manage the entire process from sourcing raw materials and production to storage and delivery. The goal is to ensure seamless processes while maintaining the highest standards in both materials and final products.
“I look forward to building on the valuable expertise of my colleagues on site and working together to design innovative solutions that meet the quality, reliability, and innovation standards demanded by service members around the world every day,” Jennewein said.
Jakob Kolbeck will now focus fully on sales and marketing across all areas, including public authorities, B2B, end customers, and OEM.
“With the addition of Paul, we are gaining a proven expert in the field of textile solutions, particularly in Defense Protective Fabrics,” Kolbeck said. “His expertise and many years of experience will open up new opportunities for innovative developments and sustainable growth, while also allowing me to dedicate my focus entirely to sales and marketing.”
This organisational change strengthens Lindnerhof’s management structure, supporting growth while ensuring stability and continuity. It also enables the company to move closer to its customers and strengthen its market presence.
