Mehler Protection’s Latest at IDET 2025
FULDA, GERMANY (04.06.2025)
Mehler Protection participated in IDET 2025, the International Defence and Security Technologies Fair, held from 28 to 30 May in Brno, Czech Republic. The event brought together international defence and security professionals, offering a platform for direct exchange and focused product presentations.

Spotlight on the HYVE Vest
Among the highlights at this year’s exhibition was the HYVE vest—a modular protective waistcoat developed for law enforcement and private security.
Lightweight and ergonomically shaped, the HYVE supports long-wear comfort while offering system scalability. Its quick-release function and modular structure allow users to configure the vest to meet a variety of mission-specific needs.
Scalable Solutions: The M.U.S.T. System
Also showcased was the M.U.S.T. System (Modular Universal Scalable Technology). Developed for military special operations, this system allows for a customisable level of ballistic protection.
Users can combine base components such as vests, collars, shoulder and groin protectors with soft or hard ballistic inserts to meet the required protection class—scaling up to VPAM 9. The system supports rapid adaptation in changing threat environments.
Additional Protective Equipment on Display
Alongside its modular ballistic systems, Mehler Protection presented a cross-section of its broader portfolio. The booth included riot control equipment, ballistic shields, helmets, and both hard and soft ballistic plates. All products are developed in-house, tested in line with applicable international standards, and built for operational reliability.
The three-day event provided an opportunity to engage with specialists from defence, law enforcement, and security sectors.
