FULDA, GERMANY (5 May 2026)
Mehler Protection was present at two key security and defence exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region: Defence Services Asia (DSA) 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Milipol TechX Asia 2026 in Singapore.
DSA, held from 20 to 23 April 2026, brought together military, law enforcement, and government stakeholders from across the region. This was followed by Milipol TechX Asia from 28 to 30 April 2026, with a focus on public safety and technology-driven solutions.
At both events, Mehler Protection presented a selection of its modular personal protection solutions. At the centre was the M.U.S.T. (Modular Universal Scalable Technology), built around a scalable approach that allows protection to be configured depending on mission requirements and threat levels. The MOBAST programme was also part of the showcase, reflecting the company’s experience in delivering large-scale modular vest systems.
A key part of the display was the Protec Flex system, shown as a complete riot gear setup including torso, arm, groin, and leg protection, along with gloves, helmet, and shield. The system is designed to provide adaptable coverage while maintaining mobility in public order scenarios.
The portfolio on display also included covert vest configurations for low-visibility operations, as well as waistcoats, plate carriers, hard ballistic plates, and soft ballistic panels. Helmets and ballistic shields completed the setup, supporting integration across different operational roles.
At Milipol TechX Asia 2026, the presentation additionally included the ExoM Exoskeleton, designed to support load carriage and reduce physical strain during extended use.
The solutions on display reflected a development approach focused on real operational needs. Materials, construction, and system design are tested to perform in demanding environments, with an emphasis on durability, mobility, and adaptability.
Both exhibitions provided the opportunity to meet with regional partners, procurement representatives, and operational users. Discussions focused on current requirements, practical use cases, and system adaptability across different environments.
Mehler Protection’s presence at both events reflects its continued engagement in the Asia-Pacific region and ongoing cooperation with partners on the ground.
