Your mission
- You will translate design and product requirements into production-ready technical documentation (e.g., tech packs, work instructions, dimension tables, tolerances, bills of materials); optionally, you will create and revise technical drawings (e.g., Adobe Illustrator)
- You will support developers and patternmakers in maintaining technical documentation and the associated systems
- You create, maintain, and approve bills of materials (BOM) as well as work plans, including the sequence of operations, setup and standard times, and machine and tool assignments.
- You are responsible for time management and cost calculation (REFA/MTM); you determine standard times, labor minutes per part, and target costs, and support price negotiations
- You manage the sample process, evaluate workmanship, and verify dimension tables and tolerances
- You handle material and component management in development; this includes specifying and scheduling trims, lap dips, and color approvals in close collaboration with textile engineering and purchasing, as well as maintaining material-related master data
- You manage changes and maintain technical documentation in PLM/ERP throughout the entire product lifecycle
Your profile
- You have completed an apprenticeship or degree program in clothing technology, clothing engineering, or as an industrial foreman, or hold a comparable qualification; alternatively, you are a master tailor with relevant industry experience
- You have professional experience in technical work planning / industrial engineering, product engineering, or production planning in the apparel or textile industry
- You have in-depth knowledge of sewing techniques, fabric processing, materials, fit, and industrial manufacturing processes
- You are proficient in using CAD/PLM/ERP systems (e.g., Assyst, PLM, SAP) and very good MS Office skills, particularly Excel; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is a plus
- Ideally, you have methodological expertise in time management (REFA/MTM)
- You have a good understanding of relevant norms and standards
- You have very good German and English language skills and are willing to travel to production sites and suppliers
