The Striker TT BDU: UF PRO’s Ultimate Uniform for Tropical Environments

UF PRO is excited to announce the launch of the Striker TT BDU, their lightest battle dress uniform yet, specifically designed for the demanding challenges of tropical environments.
This innovative uniform combines fast-drying materials with ergonomic design features to ensure maximum comfort and performance in hot and humid conditions.
From Concept to Reality
The Striker TT BDU originated from a collaboration with elite special forces to create a uniform suited for jungle warfare. This effort led to several prototypes, including one featuring lightweight Polyamide fabric.
“The Polyamide material not only reduces weight but also enhances breathability, making it ideal for hot and humid conditions,” notes Matija Kozina, an Application Specialist at UF PRO.
This innovative prototype improved drying capabilities and durability while maintaining comfort during field tests. It quickly gained acceptance among operators for its performance in challenging environments. The success of this prototype ultimately paved the way for the Striker TT BDU.
A Design Made for the Tropics
Every element of the Striker TT BDU is thoughtfully engineered, from its feather-light Polyamide fabric to the unique hybrid torso material. These components withstand the intense heat and humidity typical of tropical climates. By reducing weight and enhancing breathability, this uniform helps wearers stay dry and comfortable, even as temperatures soar.

Engineered for both flexibility and durability, the Striker TT BDU is essential for navigating the complexities of tropical environments.
Thoughtful reinforcements, combined with stretch panels and a streamlined design, provide the necessary support for dynamic movements while ensuring robust protection. Optional UF PRO 3-layer knee protection and additional elbow protection further enhances mobility and safety, allowing wearers to operate confidently in challenging conditions.
“The Striker TT BDU is more than a standard uniform; it’s designed specifically for the tough demands of tropical environments, allowing operators to stay focused, knowing their gear won’t let them down,” emphasises Dejan Kastelic, Head of Research and Development at UF PRO.

Engineered for Extreme Conditions
