Your mission
- You will be responsible for the procurement of technical components, materials and related services
- You will manage existing suppliers and develop new ones in line with technical, quality and commercial requirements
- You will be responsible for defined product groups
- As the “single point of contact for the supplier”, you will oversee the entire procurement process, from the initial technical specification through to requests for quotation and delivery
- As a project buyer, you will manage the projects entrusted to you
- You will work closely with the Design, Project Management and Controlling departments
- You will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring delivery dates and keeping track of costs
- Negotiating terms, comparing offers and awarding contracts whilst maintaining constant communication with all parties involved round off your remit
Your profile
- You have a technical or commercial qualification or a university degree
- You have already gained professional experience in the procurement department of a manufacturing company
- You have a strong command of written and spoken English
- You are a go-getter and have that certain ‘presence’
- You are a team player with strong communication and negotiation skills
- You are willing to participate in internal training on information security. Basic knowledge of information security is an advantage
