Your mission
- You will be responsible for managing approximately 60 employees as well as for personnel deployment planning, shift handovers and holiday/substitute organisation.
- You will ensure production control to achieve unit numbers, delivery dates and efficiency targets.
- You will monitor and optimise product quality and process stability and be responsible for initiating corrective measures in the event of deviations.
- You are responsible for occupational safety and compliance with legal requirements.
- You train, coach and develop employees and participate in employee appraisals and performance reviews.
- You are responsible for training new employees in the production area.
- You will work closely with internal interfaces, such as maintenance, quality assurance, production planning and shipping
- You will create shift reports and be responsible for KPI monitoring (e.g. production volume, reject rate, productive hours)
Your profile
- You have successfully completed technical or industrial-technical training, e.g. as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), mechatronics engineer (m/f/d), process mechanic (m/f/d), as well as further training, e.g. as a technician/master craftsman (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- You have management experience in the production area.
- You have already gained experience in the above-mentioned field and in a manufacturing company
- You have the ability to motivate and encourage employees.
- You are willing and flexible enough to work shifts and, if necessary, be on call
- You have basic knowledge of lean manufacturing, CIP and quality management
- You are physically fit for work in production and have strong communication and assertiveness skills
- You are confident in using MS Office applications and ERP systems
- Your profile is rounded off by a good command of German; other languages are an advantage
