Your mission
- Proper sampling of incoming consignments of goods in accordance with specified quality standards and specifications
- Proper, qualitative inspection of incoming consignments (samples) according to specified test plans and quality requirements
- Sending test samples to external laboratories
- Preparation of test reports, as well as participation in complaint processing and documentation in the event of deviations
- Creation, maintenance and optimization of incoming goods processes
- Assisting with complaints via the purchasing department
- Participation and implementation of corrective and preventive measures to reduce errors
- Supporting quality control with inspections during production
- Creation and optimization of work instructions, checklists, forms, etc. for the incoming goods process
Your profile
- Successfully completed training as a textile laboratory technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- Experience in the textile and/or clothing industry or another textile processing industry (e.g. the automotive or textile industry) in the field of fabric testing
- Confident handling of measuring equipment, high level of awareness of quality and responsibility
- Structured, reliable and independent way of working
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Assertiveness and good communication and teamwork skills
- Confident handling of MS Office applications
- Experience in working with SAP-based quality modules is an advantage
