Your mission
Industrial mechanics (m/f/d) ensure that machines, production and operating systems are always ready for operation.
They set up production equipment and machines, check their function and rectify faults.
They are just as familiar with techniques such as turning, milling, grinding and various joining techniques (e.g. welding, bolting) as they are with the assembly and adjustment of components.
At Mehler Protection, you will learn how to handle a wide variety of materials, their special features and their effectiveness in our products. The further development of our protection systems and the changing activities in the various projects make your daily work with us an interesting apprenticeship.
At Mehler Protection, you will be part of a highly specialized team of manufacturing experts in the field of body and platform protection.
Vocational school information:
The apprenticeship program lasts 3.5 years. The relevant vocational school is in Braunschweig and takes place 1 to 2 days a week.
Your profile
- You have successfully completed school and have a school-leaving qualification recognized in Germany
- You have a good understanding of technical processes and manual skills
- You enjoy working with metals and machines
- You are reliable, committed and enjoy teamwork
- A high degree of initiative and an open-minded nature
- You have a good mathematical skills and a good knowledge of physics
